Prosecutions by other Agencies

Janes Solicitors have acted in large prosecutions brought by the Bank of England under the Banking Act, by Trading Standards concerning alleged fraudulent and illegal trading in counterfeit computer software, Transport for London in respect of applications for revocation of operator's license and private prosecutions by the Federation Against Copyright Theft (FACT) andthe British Phonographic Industry (BPI) for copyright breach. We were also instructed in the first case prosecuted by Gangmasters Licensing Authority.
